Panel 1

ACC (Anglican Catholic Church) came to the Philippines in 2005 through the efforts of Archbishop Terry Lowe. Some Filipinos became interested to join the religion. In 2007, the Very Reverend Lowe ordained to the Order of Diaconate two persons from Luzon to assist him and Bishop Rene Canillo, whose Trinity Church in Mindanao, Philippines was affiliated to ACC, spread ACC in the Philippines. ACC went through rough times in the Philippines. It has its birth pains. But thank God it guided it slowly to persevere and still standing on its own feet.
In 2012, The Metropolitan Mark Haverland of ACC Original Province through the College of Bishops appointed Archbishop Lowe as the Missionary Diocese of the Philippines (MDP), Episcopal Visitor and at the same time the Synod of the Diocese of New Orleans made MDP its Sister Diocese. In 2014, Deacon Felipe “Jong” Bello, Jr. promised His Grace Terry Lowe to continue ACC in the Philippines.
In December 24, 2014, saw the rebirth of ACC Philippines in Brgy. Don Jose, Sta. Rosa City, Laguna, Philippines. Its grand opening was on January 11, 2015.
The Patron Saint and Defender of ACC Philippines is Saint Stephen, Deacon and Martyr, whose feast day falls on December 26. Our secondary patron saint is St. Therese of the Child Jesus.
